2013
12th October: the Red Tent was nominated for Outstanding Community Project at the British Awards for Storytelling Excellence (BASE). We were pipped at the post by Open Storytellers Frome, but it was a great evening.

Red Tent Visioning Day: the Red Tent Council were able to spend a whole day in the Tent on Sunday 11th August to meditate, vision and share dreams for the Tent over the coming year. We agreed to meet on the dark of the moon for the next 13 moons as preparation for offering this to a wider group perhaps the next year.

Wood Sister's Lughnasadh Gathering: on Saturday 10th August, we were able to have this gathering in the Tent in glorious sunshine. It was a special day.

Respect Festival: the Red Tent went to Respect for the first time on 1st & 2nd June - perfect weather, lots of people, storytelling and crafts in the tent and lots of interest in the Red Tent & its work.

Shonaleigh came to Totnes in May 2013 and enthralled a audience of 70+ people with tales of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba in the Golden Labyrinth

2012
The Red Tent was a sanctuary space and a venue for storytelling at the Westcountry Storytelling Festival at Embercombe on 24th - 27th August.

The inaugural outing for the newly-built Red Tent was to Quest Festival of Mind, Body, Spirit in Newton Abbott, on 12th - 15th July. Meditation, open sanctuary, storytelling, crafts, music, poetry and performance filled the tent with blessings. Lots of people visited the tent and there was great interest in our work.
